Ji-young, a contract worker, clears out her belongings on her last day at work. Just before leaving, Tae-young from the HR team asks her to return her employee ID. Reluctant to give it up, Ji-young hesitates, but the company insists that the ID must be used by the next employee. As Mother’s Household Ledger gradually intertwines the family story with modern Korean history and their shared memories, our hearts are profoundly stirred.
